Tarangire National Park Expedition

  • November 8th - 17th 2027

  • 6 guests max

  • $7000 USD/Per Person

Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife immersed in a savanna landscape. During the dry season, animals gather along the Tarangire River, creating incredible wildlife viewing opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and hundreds of bird species. What makes Tarangire special is its quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to other parks, offering a more intimate and authentic safari experience surrounded by natural beauty.

Group size will be max 6 people for a more intimate experience and flexibility for space in the vehicles. Our schedule is flexible to make the most of each day on safari. Most mornings we head out early with a packed breakfast so we can spend extended time out in the bush without needing to return to camp. Each evening drive we also bring along our own sundowner drinks, giving us the freedom to pause and enjoy the landscape wherever the day’s adventure takes us.

Day to day itinerary

Where we will stay

Tarangire Safari Lodge is a family owned lodge that has exclusive park access with lodging inside the National Park. The lodge is perched on a high ridge overlooking the Tarangire River and surrounding wildlife-rich valley. The lodge offers the chance to watch elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species right from your tent or the huge patio with panoramic views. Each guest will have their own traditional safari glamping tent with en-suite bathrooms, while shared spaces feature an open-air dining area, lounge, and swimming pool. Each day the food is made in house with local ingredients and family recipes. Be ready to eat well with some of the best meals you will ever have.

Its prime location inside the park provides easy access to game drives, walking safaris, and unforgettable sunset views, creating an immersive and authentic African safari experience. There are no fences so elephants and other animals might walk right through camp.
